One of the tricks i do list the item with a buy it now following with a best offer option available to the buyers and once someone makes a fair best offer i usually contact the person intrested and tell them that i will give it o them at that price by just simply lowering the best offer to 1 dollar
which avoids all them high dollat Final value fees.

I was selling 99p items and got susppended for mulnipulating,I never mentioned feedback in my listings and never asked any buyers for any,ebay used to be like an online car boot sale for ordinary people selling unwanted things at home they only seem to want big coporations now and the new feedback system stinks you got buyers holding you to ransom threatening neg feedbacks.I just joined ebid was 50 quid for life membership with up tp 5 free shops no listing fees or final value.

Maybe many e-bay supporters think that ebay and paypal is not charging too much but in fact if they can charge at a lower rate i think there will be much more people selling and ebay and so finally the same. And both ebay and people benefits.

first of all, Ebay …
first of all, Ebay is one of the only places where you can take a picture of stuff and post it in 5 minutes to millions of interested people. try getting a classified ad in Usa today. or better yet how about trying a full page in vogue magazine. do you have 50k to blow on one page not knowing what the outcome will be?? please 10.50 fees + final value fees are nothing compared to what can be made. the trick is to do your homework and calculate what your break even point is and then scale it..
