I want to see a 33 LP record on eBay but im confused on what theyre charging me for… explain and how much???

Why confused? The fees are listed under Fees in the Help Topics Index. Thre are 3 separate fees. The Insertion Fee, the Final Value Fee and the Paypal Fee if you sell it.

My friend wants me to post some things on ebay for him and I was just wondering if it’s difficult to post something to sell on there? Does it take a while to do?

If you already have an eBay account for buying, to sell you will have to:

1. Create a Seller’s Account

http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/seller_account.html

2. Change your Personal PayPal account to a Premier one so you may accept money from buyers.

3. Learn how to list an item for sale

http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/questions/list-item.html

4. Learn about eBay Insertion and Final Value fees. With PayPal fees added, fees will typically take about 10%. Be sure your friend knows that.

5. Decide what you’ll do a month and a half later, after you’ve paid your friend his money; if an Item Not Received Dispute is filed, your PayPal account is frozen and the money is taken from you.

Friends don’t sell for friends on eBay! It is best to learn how to sell with items you don’t care about; your own surplus items from closets, garage and basement. Don’t do it with a friend’s items.

If your friend must sell his item on eBay, show him how to get an eBay account and his own PayPal Premier account. Help and learn alongside him on his accounts, don’t jeopardize yours.

If it all seems overwhelming there are always Trading Assistants virtually everywhere, experienced eBay sellers who sell other people’s items for a fee.

I want to sell dresses on ebay but i dont have a paypath system setup i only have a savings account with an ATM card . When i sell my items how will money be lodged in my account? will it work ok or do i need to set up an account.. (in other words i dont know anyting about the money side of selling online? )HELP PLEASE?

You must be 18 years old to get your OWN ebay and paypal accounts. Under 18, you must use an adult’s account with their permission, and they take all the responsibility of the accounts & listings. If you attempt to make your own account and are found to be underage, the accounts may be closed and you may be banned from either or both sites.

You can link a paypal account to a bank account (either checking or savings) or to a credit or debit card. The money is put into the paypal account and held there until (a) you request a check, (b) you transfer the money to the linked bank account (but NOT to the debit/credit card) or (c) you get a paypal debit card to access the money.

EBay is a good source of extra income. But I’m not sure where to find GOOD items to sell on eBay (buy low sell high). If any one who is selling on eBay would like to share extra info please email me. The consideration is appreciated.

wholesalers. international companies like china. i would first check what prices are going for so i can match what prices people are buying at, so i wouldnt overpay for something and trying to sell it out to lose money.

I am currently a work at home mom. I do mortgages from my home office. But, the market is very bad right now and I am not making any money. I have heard that alot of people earn a full time income selling items on ebay from home. I have sold a few of my items on ebay so I know how the process works…. my question is though, how do you go about getting the items to sell? How can I make it a succesful home business. Thank you for your responses.

You can become a distributor for different items like cell phone accessories. You can also go to garage and yard sales. Hit up Goodwill and Salvation Army.

You can also become an eBay Trading Assistant or put up fliers around town that people who want to sell items on eBay without the hassle of doing it themselves can drop items off to you.

The biggest rule is that you have to jump in with both feet.

I really want to sell some products on ebay without having to set up a store or having to charge tax. How many products can I sell at a time without having any if the issues I stated above?

as long as you have the insertion fee and the product, sell all you want the government hasn’t figured out how to tax online auctions yet

What do I need to become a boat traders assistant on eBay and buy and resell boat.
do I need a dealer license from the DIV as trading assistant, what can we do with as boat broker (no license required in NY)
I want open an eBay store, buy locally and resell boat on line and also sell for the others. (If is the same license I will do cars also)
Thanks

you will do the same as you were selling in a local store , same regulation , each state is different
if you can purchase them without a license , ebay won’t ask you for a license to sell them in ebay motor

I’m praying that I win this contest online so I win an htc hd2 but Im worried about how much it’ll sell for. It’s average on eBay is like $500-700 but I’ve seen some for like $960 and stuff. I wanna make the most possible but there’s so many other people selling this product too and I’m new to eBay. Help?

Consider this, it isn’t really a question about how to find stuff to sell but more of a question of finding items THAT sell. There are tons of people who have tried to sell items they bought wholesale on Ebay and end up with only a few clicks/views. There is a trick that Power Sellers use to find the "Hot Items". "Hot Items" are those that get alot of views which therefore get alot of buys.

I start everything at $.99.

I’ll always got what it’s worth, so if it sells for $.99 then is just wasn’t worth any more than that. What do you plan on selling?

i think that is a bit ridiculous…is there no where you can purchase thosec amazing coloured cigarettes that people have. i dodn’t even smoke, i just want to know…so no going on about how smoking is bad because I DON’T EVEN SMOKE
i live in the uk
why buy condoms when you can just get them for free from family planning or wherever

Because condoms are legal everywhere for everyone to have. They dont want to get messed up in different state laws or parents suing ebay because their kids bought cigs. Also, cigs have a state tax attached to them and that would be a mess figuring out the tax and where it went and catching all those that did not charge tax ect.

Short answer is that it is because they want to cover their butts in case of any legal difficulty.

As for the cigs you are curious about, you can find out who makes them, and then call customer service number, and they can give you the name of a local retailer
