My friend wants me to post some things on ebay for him and I was just wondering if it’s difficult to post something to sell on there? Does it take a while to do?
If you already have an eBay account for buying, to sell you will have to:
1. Create a Seller’s Account

2. Change your Personal PayPal account to a Premier one so you may accept money from buyers.

3. Learn how to list an item for sale

4. Learn about eBay Insertion and Final Value fees. With PayPal fees added, fees will typically take about 10%. Be sure your friend knows that.

5. Decide what you’ll do a month and a half later, after you’ve paid your friend his money; if an Item Not Received Dispute is filed, your PayPal account is frozen and the money is taken from you.

Friends don’t sell for friends on eBay! It is best to learn how to sell with items you don’t care about; your own surplus items from closets, garage and basement. Don’t do it with a friend’s items.
If your friend must sell his item on eBay, show him how to get an eBay account and his own PayPal Premier account. Help and learn alongside him on his accounts, don’t jeopardize yours.
If it all seems overwhelming there are always Trading Assistants virtually everywhere, experienced eBay sellers who sell other people’s items for a fee.
